Keep up with our New Student Programs Goucher Guides on Instagram all summer long - @gouchernsp!

Your journey to Goucher College begins with the New Student Roadmap. This checklist is your guide to the steps you will complete prior to your arrival on campus. If you have questions as you complete your roadmap requirements, please contact welcome@eventoshappyever.com.

Throughout the summer, we will host a series of virtual orientation sessions - one for students and a series for families as well! Be sure to register for each session to be "in the know!"

You'll arrive on campus for move-in and receive information on when to do so from the Office of Residential Life. Here's a brief list of what to pack (and what you should leave home).

New Student Orientation is the next opportunity students have to get to know the campus, meet and make new friends, and start to feel at home at Goucher. In Goucher Guide groups, led by a peer student leader (the "Goucher Guide") with at least a year of experience on campus, new students get to see and experience the campus with the experts. This important and required program is your official welcome to Goucher College, introducing you to traditions, important people and places, as well as outlining requirements and showing you "the ropes" of coming to Goucher College.

Once new student orientation has finished, join the campus community for Welcome Celebration, a Goucher tradition event, on Wednesday, August 21!

Our first day of school is Thursday, August 22, 2024.

Here are some other opportunities for you to become acclimated and feel at home faster at Goucher College:
